The American South has long been a fertile breeding
ground for singer/songwriters who combine all the musical styles and elements of their environment. Alabama native Adam Hood carries on
that tradition. Like a truly great jambalaya, there are a lot of subtle
flavors mixing together in his own unique brand of Southern music. These flavors are all wrapped around lyrics that sound almost too
insightful for someone so youthful.
Before being labeled “Southern Rock” the artists of The Legends of Country Soul were blending,
rock, country and soul into a unique sound and transforming towns like
Muscle Shoals, AL and Macon, GA into hit making capitals of the world.
